so they aren't rear-projection? I'm just trying to figure out if I somehow (by some miracle) found one, would NES games look good on it (or would it upscale to 480i instead of displaying the proper progressive scan). My second choice would be a PVM, but there's an obvious visual appeal to having one of these on my desk (the middle one). Unless of course the consensus here is 240p would look like ass on one of them, and then I'd quit searching for one, and go back to PVM-hunting.

The monitor itself existed in 1997 at least. Whether that comment is correct or not I can't say. There's an older looking picture with him. Whether that picture is from Doom 3 development I can't say. He does have is more modern short hair look. But he doesn't in this this.
They might have just used that picture to show off the monitor more rather than be chronologically correct.
