Easily one of the most autistic /vr/ and /vg/ memes. Both JRPGs and shmups are shit genres in the exact same way. Both best serve as easy-to-make vessels for jerking off pretty visuals and music with absolutely minimal regards to gameplay. Both can easily have good gameplay too, but the developers never, ever give enough of a fuck for that. You always end up with brain dead, boring garbage. All you do is just go over the same, repetitive bullshit over and over and the only reward you get is getting to watch some numbers go up. You people are fucking animals.
