They didn't get the combat right, running speed is slow, ledge jumping and wall climbing are just gimmicks that don't add actual depth besides a few spots. The double jump was a step in the right direction but their tedious upgrading system is just downright awful, I'm supposed to be destroying demons left and right with any weapon I wan't instead of wasting time in menus and having pepper spraying weapons.
