I'm trying to decide between two GBA flashcarts for a DSlite: the EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition and the Everdrive GBA X5 Mini. Which is better to get?

ODE is cheaper with slightly worse battery life and sticks out of the DSlite.

X5 mini is flush with DS lite, costs more, better battery life.

I got hulk hands and the SP has felt too small for me ever since high school. Is the OG a huge step up? Because I've always thought it looked comy as hell to play with.

dare I say it
in all seriousness all of the gameboy line is great on original hardware. sure, backlights are cool and the only OEM shit with them is a japanese exclusive and handhelds designed for babby hands, but it's still easily playable with just an overhead light if you never leave the house or if you go outside you can just sit on the lawn and see everything perfectly fine
as an adult you're not likely to do that but honestly backlights would've been annoying as a kid where 90% of my playtime was outside
