If it has any analog stick on it at all I probably won't even bother with it. I'd take a cheap 3rd party controller without one over extraneous joysticks I'll use only once in a blue moon.

Some other good older joysticks are worth mentioning. The Microsoft Sidewinder can be found for a dollar in bins at Good Wills and thrift stores. If you happen to have an older PC with a gameport it is a very good controller with a great stiff old-school feel to the buttons and d-pad.
