Stay pleb. RGB inputs appeared on most sets sold in my country in the late 70s, TVs and video monitors alike (pic related, the back of a 1982 Sony KX-27ps1). The only way I'd buy a composite-only monitor or an RF-only TV set is if I ever get a hand on pre-NES consoles or some early 8-bit computers, so I can get the right set for the machine.
