I'll provide a half decent answer: Blood's cultists are fucking ruthless, but I personally enjoy the abuse. It's not for everyone but if you acclimate to that shit you're usually going into rooms and either clearing it out instantly and leaving a trail of bodie, or you fucking die. Same reason why some people really enjoy the likes of Ninja Gaiden or other hard games, really. Or why there's people out there that really enjoy Hideous Destructor, which is a Doom mod that stacks the odds heavily against the player's favor.
I say all this as someone who likes Shadow Warrior the most out of the big three Build engine games.

I like Duke, I like Blood, and I fucking LOVE Shadow Warrior.

I'll keep this knowledge in mind, cus while I played through all of Blood's episodes, there's still the expansions and the fan made content I can run through in the future, even then, Blood's well worth revisiting even if I don't play those.
