RE has the better games, but Silent Hill has the better audiovisual experiences.
Does that make sense?
Silent Hill is very unique due to its atmosphere, but I feel like the games themselves are a bit lackluster.

I could go back countless times to Resident Evil 4 because it's such a well designed, fun game while I might boot up Silent Hill 2 just once a year.

See when it comes to level design, enemy design, and honestly just the actual survival horror experience, Silent Hill kinda sucks. The first game is probably the only one in the series that excels in those aspects, but it still pales in comparison to many of the RE games.

for collection purposes, or to actually play them? I'm assuming you have a nip console if it's the latter, right?

I got lucky and found 1 and 2 for relatively low prices, way before they spiked up for some reason.

Why was the 6th gen a breeding ground for experimental/weird games like these? I miss it.

what are some quintessential, entry-level mod campaigns for a zoomer who has only beaten the original ones and Plutonia (with free aim enabled)?

I think this is first time /vr/ has felt alien to me.

This thread radiates so much boomer energy, I feel like I'm gonna jump from 19 to 30 in the split of a second. Shine on, old men.
