The above hardware will allow you to play windows games available through the release of Diablo II LOD with extremely high compatibility. The Creative DVD decoder is a bonus for playing a handful of games with FMV's. The m3D is great for the nicest looking version of Mechwarrior 2 and Tomb Raider. The sound cards have marginal DOS compatibility but it should be fine for Tomb Raider. The Audigy 2 ZS should be able to load the sound font for Final Fantasy VII, reducing the need for an AWE64.

I have this machine in progress so compatibility could very well be fucked. The 3D Rage Pro is a solid card. The version of Mechwarrior 2 specific to this card is OK, WipEout looks solid on it. The Voodoo 2 SLI setup is great for DOS Glide games. Ethernet card is slower but has better DOS support. Hollywood card is for goofy FMV games as well, including some Zork ones. The mentioned AWE32 has a specific sound chip for one game I can't remember, genuine OPL3, and allows for custom sounds in Dungeon Keeper. Gravis PnP card has the Interwave chip which has its own unique sound.

I've also got a mostly complete DOS specialist machine that's still running 98SE, but everything Windows is better served in the above two as far as I can remember. Also gets more play time. Pic related.
