Don't listen to people who tell you need to "git gud" and do it by facing pros online. You need what is called onboarding and you should play something like Quake 3 Arena or UT2004's campaign that lets you earn dosh to buy players with or treat injuries or duel for bet money. I know it sounds casual like gimmick SP modes for fighting games, but these things help you enjoy the game while you work on your FPS skills.
