/vr/ - Retro Games

this is for october, i just picked up halo 2, halo 2 multiplayer map pack, call of duty finest hour Ps2, quake sega saturn and star wars rogue squadron N64 last week.

do any of you do this? i definitely plan on buying a super nintendo at some point but im picking up the cheaper <$20 games before buying the system to play them. i just picked up choplifter III because of its nostalgic value but lack the SNES to test it out...very well could be fucked and i dont even know it. is the risk worth it, even if i find a deal? im asking because while the choplifter has a space to look aesthetically pleasing on my shelf, im also looking at getting starfox and alien 3 because i found them at a discount online...
