I was a Cube guy for the JSR, and in JSRF Gum got my interest with her upgrades. Did anyone ever figure out the reason/meaning of the rotating clock in JSRF?

That is the version without the American stages. The one with them has Gum on the cover.

Pretty cool with tons of style. The music is weird but I vibe with it. This was the Sega that I know and loved.

I thought it was very stylish and cool. It was pretty good to me, leveraging unique features of the system. The stages have a very cool Japanese style. While weird looking, like a lot of rhythm games at the time, it maintained the theme to stand out. I was jealous the US release got even more songs and stages, but then Sega offered an updated version via mail order only. I kind of wish there was a bit more to the trick systems. The game introduced me to Naganuma's music which is why I want that Sonic game. "Wrapped in Black" is pretty good.
