/vr/ - Retro Games

The game was originally going to be a new IP with sentai-like characters. Unlike what may initially seem like a cash grab to sell a game based only on characters, Smash Bros. actually provided polished gameplay that guaranteed people would be coming back to it because it was actually a good game, and the familiar Nintendo characters are just the cherry on the top.
Also, the gameplay is like a deeper Kirby Super Star, which already had pretty tight controls.

For me, it's the atmosphere. Even the menu is just comfy to look at. For some reason selecting stuff on this menu feels great, don't know exactly why because it's something trivial, but it just feels satisfying sliding through the options here.

This proved to be the king for me and my friends.
