Incredible! This TV was manufactured circa '83, mine is from 9/1984. Maybe Panasonic needed to find a way to reuse these headers. That photo came from an ebay auction that also pictures the cable which has a 9 pin d-sub connector.

With a pinout maybe I could just use female jumpers to connect up a 15 pin VGA plug. I do have an oscilloscope, but have no experience with it. Maybe someday (never) it will happen!
