Thanks for all the suggestions! I've looked into a few of them. To answer some questions, I'm not real big into rpgs unless they are strategy ones like Shining Force. Probably should of also mentioned before that $20 is the max I'm willing to spend on a gb game.

Also how well do the lights in pic related work? My neck/back start aching after a few minutes leaning trying to get the best lighting for the screen.

So far I'm loving Links Awakening. Few annoyances here and there but overall fantastic. Already beat Asteroids. Only took me two shits but tbf I had that one growing up. Solid Good time waster tho.

I had a pink wormlight that I got from Wal-Mart back in the 90s. That was the only color they had at the time and I didn't want to wait around for another one. I must have given it away or something because I have no idea where it is, but I ended up doing a frontlight mod so I haven't been super concerned with finding it.

I'd say buy a used one if you're worried about Chinese quality control. It's a pretty fool-proof design being just an LED attached to some snake wire, so unless someone really trashed the thing to the point that the wire broke it should work fine.
