As a kid I distinctly remember wondering why the past themes were so much better than the present and future themes. Now I know why.

Why the fuck did SOA change the music?

Wait this is a real Sonic game? I thought it was just a gimmick. Where does it rank among the Sonic canon?

How to be considered a great game

You don't even need to worry about level designs or gameplay, apparently. Who cares if it's objectively worse than Sonic 1 in pretty much every way, it SEEMS cool to like!

This is the peak of the Sonic franchise. Everything it means to be Sonic was perfected here.

Does this game chug super bad or is it the emulator I'm using? I feel like the frame rate is constantly tanking.

The game is a mishmash and a clusterfuck. There's too many noises and colors and paths and I have no idea what the Hell is going on.

I was allowed to play any game. However my father didn't buy me the Sega CD add-on that would allow me to play Sonic CD. I had to wait until adulthood to finally play this on an emulator, since I didn't shop eBay or at a retro gaming shop at the time.

Sonic CD was always a great game. Better than the other Sonic games I've played.

Damn this game is fun as fuck. Much better than Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I don't know why I haven't played this sooner. I'm glad I didn't listen to the haters, this game is fun as fuck.
