>The signal has a lot of interference in it, but what do you expect?

is the interference coming from the cobbled together cabling, or is something wrong with the input?

if you're not a whiz at making cables (like me, I've been lucky so far and have it needed anything that exotic outside of some VGA-BNC5's and a few gender changers) maybe you should ask a cable house for a custom order?

>Still need a degaussing coil though

I actually had some pretty good luck with the $5 degaussing wands on eBay my PVM was horribly discolored, and now it's 99% fixed ( just a tiny little blue discoloration in the corner I can only noticed if you stare at it on a white background)

adjusting the "beam landing" can also be pretty helpful for that kind of discoloration. can you access that setting with the Mitsubishi?

also, does the Mitsubishi have a remote control?

>What do you suppose the cheapest method of getting some type of sync stripper would be?

I thought retro RGB had something like that for $20. plus I remember somebody selling scart cables with strippers built-in for around $25 on eBay ( but this was sometime ago)

>Fusion set to double, scanline, and then fullscreen

Kega fusion is kind of outdated isn't it? although I remember it being billed as more accurate than Gens, I wonder if that's still true.
