I just realized something. This is the fabled egg from the story of "The Giant Who Had No Heart In His Body". How else do you explain the fact that Sony not only still making consoles while losing money, but actually dominates the market, despite losing their entire worth with the PS3, and making nothing with the PS4? This prototype is how Sony is still around and dominating the console market, and if this were to be destroyed, real life physics will apply to Sony and force them out of the console market because, how they hell can you just keep yourself in the market if you have to rely on insurance and bail bonds for the money you lost from just being in the game market? Something doesn't add up.
