Virtua fighter was arcade only for a while and it was STANDARD for the arcades to have better graphics. Cherry picking virtua fighter doesn't change that DOOM was for a time, some of the best you could play graphically in your own home.

At the time, no one had that criticism. This is 100% hindsight at work and its hilarious to see you act like its a legitimate flaw. The game is an action game not a horror game, so who honestly cares about their animations besides..well..you? I have literally never seen this complaint before.
