Finally someone with some sense, I have been telling people Blood is the worst build game hands down for years, even shadow warrior is more enjoyable and that game also fucking sucks.
You hit the nail on the head with just about everything wrong with blood although you failed to mention one of the worst things about blood, the weapons that are awful, genuinely baffles me just how shit they are, I don't even know where to start other than the only "good" weapons are the shitgun and dynamite both of which are just worse than the Duke3d counterparts. The flare gun is worthless, the tommy gun is worthless, the hair spray is almost useless, the napalm launcher is pretty shit against most of the enemies.
You also mentioned the game is ugly but you failed to mention that monolith never in their entire career been able to make 1 good level. Every single level they make feels worse than some Doom level made by a bored 12 year old. They are either a slog of giant empty space or a mess of a maze. They as you said also just look ugly as shit, Wolf3D is more enjoyable to look at.

Just play Duke3D it always has been and always will be the best build game.
