They also had the Ferrari right too which resulted in Sega having to go through Acclaim to publish the home port of Ferrari F355 Challenge on their own console.

F355 Challenge is still great.

This game was a blast: hilariously cheesy Van Halen inspired soundtrack, human-like AI drivers, no rubber banding bullshit, and unforgiving as all hell (it's a sim after all). Wish I could have experienced the triple screen arcade version.

Thoughts on this game? Were you lucky enough to play it in the arcade with the triple monitor setup?

This one will kick you in the nuts if you don't do specific tuning for each track.

Literally the most unforgiving, but most rewarding game I ever played. Just passing another car felt so exhilarating and almost like an accomplishment in itself. Gran Turismo and Forza don't have SHIT on this.

Retro racing sim thread. I've played through pic related and Gran Turismo 2 and I'm craving more. Any platform, doesn't matter.

It probably doesn't hold a candle to the arcade version, but is it still worth playing?
