Dragon Dance is the patrician's choice for handheld ball n' paddle.

Alleyway is fine for a couple rounds, but it's ultimately too primitive and inflexible with its trajectories. Dragon Dance is your best bet for handheld ball n' paddle.

Looking for some good, lesser-known Game Boy Color games, preferably games on the purple carts that aren't backward-compatible with a regular GB, but that's not a hard requirement.

I loves me some ball & paddle games but... OP is kinda right when it comes to Alleyway. Its physics are bare bones and pretty unflexable. Dragon Dance is my go-to game for some game boy ball paddlin'

Of all the GB/C titles, I feel Dragon Dance is the best. Definitely pick it up and if you want some good handheld ball & paddle.

Today was my birthday and I got a factory sealed copy of Dragon Dance. Felt good to open up a brand new game boy game again.
