I think there's some art to LCD games, being able to cram all the graphics necessary for a game onto a single screen where no elements can overlap.

One thing I love is games like Epoch's Lost in Space Big Maze or Gauntlet, where it uses perspective walls to create a pseudo-3d area for the player to move around in. The way the graphics are all constructed to fit into a single screen is one of the things that absolutely fascinates me about LCD games.
