Thanks, and yeah that's the goal, to have Metroid 1's proportions so that the environment comes out big for the player, On top of Super's grungy aesthetics I also chose to use the SA-X pose because it's just the best pose as far as 2D games go.

Varia suit and Gravity suit are now palette swaps and don't give damage reduction. For that now there's the Barrier Suit (a voluntary use of the Varia suit's mistranslation) for 50% damage reduction and giving the typical huge pauldrons.
