The big one is that the Law route is literally broken, you can't beat the game in that route unless you apply a patch to his patch. And Gideon flipped out about the patch that fixed his broken shit too, much like how he's doing now. On top of that, the actual translation is totally inaccurate, there's a huge blog post somewhere comparing it to the real deal and the 'liberties' they took are just ludicrous. People complained about ATLUS' iOS translation for being 'too dry' but it was actually accurate to the Japanese and they were just used to Gideon's team throwing in a bunch of swearing and edge-lord shit because they felt like it. I don't usually give a fuck about localizations, I'm not a 'literal translation' guy, but if you're fan translating something, totally making shit up and passing it off as 'legit' is just weird.

Look, all REEEing aside, I don't actually care how people how people play their NESs/Famicoms (as long as it doesn't involve murdering working consoles), but this is a trigger thread, so I was just screeching in the appropriate location. I'm all for RGB when the machine spits it out, I just think the Famicom/NES is a nearly perfect console, so I don't personally feel a need to fix the one thing it lacks. But that's just me. Famicom MTII is like 33% translated, and the project was super promising, but dmanufacture just vanished and hasn't been heard from. Really bums me out.
