I don't have that much principles. But if some dubious client wants to get between me and my game and inflicts arbitrary restrictions (like country specific censorship) I consider it malware. I would never install Steam, Origin or all the other bogus clients on my computer. So IMO GoG is the only Store that does it right. I even stopped using the Humble Store all together the first time when I got completely useless Steam keys instead of the expected actualinstaller.
