OP clearly wasn't alive back then.
People were sick of 2D games, literally everyone wanted 3D _anything_.
For the nth time, the only way the Saturn could have succeeded would be if Sony didn't decide to enter the console market and steal their place.
The Saturn could do good 3D (Virtual Fighter 2, Panzer Dragoo II, Dynamite Deka, all great 3D games). But it couldn't compete against Sony and their CD factories.

I don't have any friends who are into VF2, they're more into 2D fighting games, so getting this save motivated me to start playing VF2 again.

Jacky always reminded me of Trunks rather than Goku.
