>play on software mode
>graphics are sharper and cleaner but texture alignments are reset to 0 and looking up and down is nauseous

Nah, I'm a boomer who still owns a Genesis and NES, used to own a SNES, and has a top of the line PC currently. But I still like the mini for playing on my television. Old consoles are garbage if you want to hook them up to modern HD hardware, I like my pixel perfect scaling and hated the blurry mess of cheapo CRTs I grew up with. Soul my ass, if anything zoomers froth over them because "so retro wow", most of them weren't quality pvms or the like, they were shit you could hardly read. Squinting to try to read text in SNES jrpgs sucks.

Also I don't like sitting in my office chair emulating on pc, that's just not right especially for couch co-op with my drinking buddies. Lets face it, you just want to shit on others' fun because its not your approved method of fun. We get it Mr. Elitist, you're cool for collecting dusty cartridges you bought from scalpers on ebay. I have a ton of Genesis titles collecting dust, but I have no reason to bring em out when I can just play anything in a nice convenient digital box. Zoomers adore retro stuff for the novelty, I just wanna play some goddamn games without fussing over the now dated
hardware I grew up with.
