I actually like the game, unlike most here. The atmosphere, mood, environments, music, and even visuals are really appealing to me, setting a sort of cheerful/playful aura. The gameplay is basic, and the game doesn't overstay its welcome so it is just right to me. I did read the PS2 port does have less accurate analog controls compared to the original Saturn release, which explains its poorer feeling in controls, but it is at least on a system that more people have. I even like the graphics, since I like large scaled pixels, and the game utilizes those along with its "polygons" well.

The book was my reason to get it. As I've opted to play the Saturn version.

It controlled pretty well with the Saturn controller to me. My taste in games vibes with Sega titles, but most people don't like them and that's alright. I actually find NiGHTS to have some delightful settings and while easy, a satisfying gaming experience. It is a cool show of tech to me and I am glad I got it.

Unlike most here, I really like the game. The atmosphere is a delight, music pretty catchy, controls intuitive, and visuals stand out both in a technical manner as well as artistically. It is easy, a result of being designed for a younger audience, but it does not interfere with being enjoyable to play. I can get pretty good ratings on all stages with the exception of that one canyon stage with the long ride, I cannot find a way to loop through it faster.

I found it in a clearance bin at Best Buy in the USA. The Christmas demo disc was given to me from a friend. I got the Japanese releases on my visits to Japan, as they are very cheap. The sequel on the Wii, I remembered getting from Amazon, still haven't opened it yet but it was under $10USD. You can find it on Steam, 360, X1X, etc. digitally for cheap too now, I remember it was about 240-400 Microsoft Points. It is widely available for cheap, if anything you can always just download the ISO and emulate the game.

It predates /vr/, Sega games were not liked in Japan nor North America. I guess as Saturn emulation and ISOs are widely available now, people get to try them and realize it is an acquired taste. I have come to the conclusion I enjoy kusoge, even though other modern games are technically better, I still find Sega games appealing as they are for me and not for everyone now they are realizing it.

It was in the clearance bin at Best Buy for $20USD, developed by Sonic Team, and I already had the 3D pad, so it was worth giving a try. I found a delightful and charming game which also serves as a tech demo for the system. The music is relaxing and stages colorful and interesting. I like big chunky scaled pixels and the smooth movement. The series seems to get a lot of hate, probably because it is from Sega, but for at least 30 minutes the game is still great to me.

I like the music. The locales are pretty imaginative. The game controls very nice with the analog dome fitting the teme of an aerial acrobat within a dream. The game doesn't overstay its welcome and has a scoring system to encourage scoring runs or speeding through, however the player chooses to play. The two kids have slight variations on stages, which gives a bit of variety. In the end, like most Sega games, most may not like them, but I think they are pretty cool.

Did not know it was part of a first edition Saturn original.

I have the Sega Ages Gunstar Treasure Box, Dragon Force, Virtual On, and Phantasy Star Generation 1. Sadly, I have hardly played them because I spend more time playing the originals on the Saturn.

The PS2 version came with a hardcover children's storybook which has some nice art.
