MiSTer is an extreme solution to move to if you already have hardware because you won't gain much other than reducing space. I have a modded PS1 but I never recovered my Genesis and NES so it took no second though to pick one up. Gained NEO GEO and PC Engine in return which adds value to the MiSTer for me personally. If not for consoles, then you better be an arcade or retro PC enthusiasts to consider getting a MiSTer FPGA out of the blue because the cores offered there are astounding. The original Street Fighter 2 will feel very different than what most people are used to on MAME or FBA on FPGA but it's one of those things where you gotta try to believe.
