VIII. I always enjoyed the junction system, it required you to balance spellcasting with armory, which was a challenge I enjoyed. I don't really see why everyone hates it so much.

Character would have to be Vivi, I like how he deals with the struggles of not knowing his origins, and the scene with Zidane at the summoner village was cute.
Villain is Kuja. Something about his evil being fueled by his own fear of dying comes off as this weird mix of fear and coldness, gives him some interesting character depth imo.

Love Grows from FFVIII, FF9 for best soundtrack.

When Squall saves Rinoa in space.

Just get away from this futuristic shit. In my opinion we need more classic fantasy and less sci-fi. Also return to the elements that made the old games great, which was how the adventure grew around you, rather than being over-scripted to the point of feeling bland.
