I was born in '81, but my parents always said consoles were a waste of time so we got computers. Atari 800xl and ST1040

Those were fantastic, but I never got to play a console game at large until my brother bought a PSX in 99 and then a dreamcast.


When I got to play them through emulation, they were already old and without the nostalgia, hard to appreciate.

So I never finished a Mario, Castlevania, Megaman or pretty much any exclusive console game.

I did finish a lot of PSX and Dreamcast games, but nothing earlier, which causes me to sound like a 18 year old when talking here.

It's weird to have more nostalgia for the emulation scene heyday than for the games they emulated themselves
