the SNES has the best follin, uematsu, sakuraba, mitsuda, kondo, shimomura soundtracks.

Pretty much the golden era of jrpg music ever made, and maybe the golden era of videogame music of all time.

Since yamane best work was originally a castlevania to compete with SNES but they later ported to psx, I will also put yamane to this 94-97 golden era of the PEAK of videogame music as an artistic form.

Anything else is shit.
