These threads just serve as multiple junk food containment threads for normalfags and other users since the games are popular with everyone (Mario/Zelda/Pokemon/Sonic) while the more niche/boring topics and makeshift generals are left untainted (Doom/Klonoa/CRT shaders and tvs) Same thing happens on /vrpg/.
