It certainly can be worse, but I can't help but agree that way too many people think that being left serves as a replacement of being a good person, when politics in general never dictates such an idea conceptually. It's even to the point where apparently you're considered a bad person for being mostly centered politically (i.e. a centrist) or even simply apolitical, which is concept people on the right believe as well for some reason. This whole mess isn't even a left or right exclusive thing, people are just fuckin' dumb and it all serves as a reminder that American politics nowadays, at least how they're being exercised, are a complete joke.
