Exactly. You have to step into the shoes of someone from the time and imagine the standard of what was possible. I loved and still love my SNES, it's my all time favourite console. But the first time I saw Ridge Racer running on a PlayStation, it looked like god damn witchcraft. I couldn't believe it was possible on home hardware. It looks basic as shit now, but at the time it was light years ahead of something like Star Fox, which I thought was hot shit at the time. It's all relative.
