Megaman Anniversary Collection for GC was my fuckin jam. I played Power Fighters 1-2 with a neighbor everyday for a summer. Picrel got my hopes up so damn much. Would have been a day one purchase. Some autists tried to revive it a few years back. I want to believe.

And Capcom lost theirs. I bought a fucking GBA solely to play mega man mania and it never came out.

rofl yes, look at any advertisement for a Megaman game. Look at this ad for the unreleased Rockman World compilation, this has scotformer written all over it.

It really isn't rocket science. If your ad campaign comes across like it was made to sell a character rather than a game, your game, is SCOT.

If you're going to make a collection inferior to a collection from 10 years ago, AT LEAST make the additional content worth considering

I know the platform is not /vr/ but the base games are and they've never been touched up and rereleased.
