I have an idea for mod that I would call Simple Doom.

My basic ideas are these:

No two weapons occupy the same slot. Fists for 1, chainsaw for 2, shotgun for 3, rifle for 4, rockets for 5, BFG is 6. I would have certain weapons' alt fires replace entire weapons.

For example, the rifle is your starting weapon. Fires a bit faster than the normal pistol, but still just a tad slower than the chaingun. Then, you get an upgrade to the fire rate that makes it a little faster than the chaingun. The shotgun's alt fire upgrade is basically the half life 1 and 2 shotgun alt fire, that makes it a super shotgun. You get the BFG first, but the primary fire is just the plasma gun with green projectiles. Then, you get the alt fire later, which is the normal BFG.

I one shotted the icon of sin in trailblazer.
