you can say whatever about the difficulty or the gameplay but they could have went whatever direction they wanted without making it all take place in dark green swamps against the cast of the pirates of the caribbean and giving rayman a shitty amorphous blue blob sidekick and deviantart oc fairy retconned in like betilla the fairy, bzzit and the other weird ray-people like tarayzan never existed
