They're technically better and I completely understand why people prefer them, but something about the original versions hold a special place in my heart, even if the original version of II is terrible. Also, I don't like that they changed the Flying Fortress from a space station into a floating castle for some reason in the PSX version and up. And fighting a Beholder is cool.
