rockets fly too slow to reach from here (pic) to a cyberdemon on the ledge where the yellow key is before the monster moves out of the way. never mind headshots; just any contact at all. the plasma gun shots travel much faster.

before you say "well get closer to them so you don't miss", remember that breaking cover means you have the rockets from 5 (five, count them) cyberdemons coming at you from several different directions, which is a guaranteed way to get yourself killed very quickly.
