Sega and Nintendo heavily tapped into the dudebro American culture market on the Genesis and SNES.
I think both companies may have veered away from being so heavy in that stuff in 5th gen, can't remember.
But that's an example of both companies doing what Microsoft does.
All you need to look at is how much EA Sports/American sports titles you'll find in their libraries.
Sony's always been mixed with both Japan and western, and did tap into American culture early on despite mainly being Japan first and foremost.
But just eventually came an American company more and more as time went on from end of 6th gen or somewhere in 7th
All the major companies tapped into dudebro American culture basically, none of them are clean of it.
