Pro-tip: don't They're fucking awful until you get the absolute best gear in the game, and even then they're still near the worst build in the game for almost everything. You can't MF as good every other class, you'll never be particularly tanky, and the tank you do have bugs out with bow skills, leveling without gear is a punishment satan inflicts on those who end up in the worst circle of hell, especially act 2/3 normal. The best bows are horrifically expensive e.g. faith, ice, brand or stupid rare e.g. windforce. Bows in general were over balanced for when accounting for the range advantage and thus have awful base damage. The skill tree lacks the damage spikes you get on most other classes around the 24-30 levels and even then those skills fall off late nightmare/early hell without the right gear and a lot of +skills.

I love every second of it.

I would recommend just level as a java then respec once you're leveled and have gear.
