Basically all 90s Simpsons games were weird as fuck, but this one takes the cake for me. They basically reskinned a random existing game, and since the subject matter and setting were completely inappropriate they just decided to use a basically minor character as the titular main character and stretch the notion and vague implications of a "fun house" to shrug off the nonsense.

The irony is that it is still hands down the BEST western-developed game carrying the Simpsons license released during the 90s.

I believe I got pretty far into it back in the day, but holy shit does it become a total chore.

For some reason I actually enjoyed these shitty games as a kid. I guess because they were only temporary so I still had fun with them. I remember always renting simpsons and looney tunes games. Snes had a huge amount of shovelware.

I was amazed to see how much this cart is worth when I looked up my old games. Easily the highest priced. And yeah, it's pretty enjoyable and gets pretty challenging.

Lode Runner was the shit. I'd spend an entire afternoon building a custom level and then make my siblings or parents play it until they beat it. The fake blocks were the worst.
