I have but a small contribution to make to this. Achievements only bother me in 2 scenarios.

I - The achievements themselves will spoil the game ahead of time due to the fact they haven't been hidden. Like some games have the achievement and description, leading to spoilers like who the last boss is or how far you are in the game. I hate that so much.

II - DLC is released for it and becomes apart of your percentage complete whether you have it or not. Like for example let's say you complete everything in Halo 8, but then they release Halo 8 DLC with it's own achievements. Your 100% has become something like 97% or however many achievements the DLC adds. That shit pisses me off and I never know if it's lazyness or they are trying to push sales by doing that. I don't even go for 100% unless I really like the game, but it sucks when I can't see 100% on something I worked at because of some DLC I refuse to buy.

Other than that they don't bother me and they can even be good. But the have to be handled with care and avoid the above.

And if I could pick our daughteru it would be Anne from Harvest Moon.

So I wonder if you guys can help me out. I remember a game my bud and I played on MAME and it was a vertical shooter and it had a high fantasy kind of theme an you played as magicians/wizards/whatever who throw magic out (kind of like touhou but it seemed more western magic oriented). I can barely remember anything but the fact you start in a forest-like area, and I think there was a red, green, and blue character to choose from. I have no idea if it was a cave shooter or not. In case it's not evident my picture is not related.

So yeah if anyone knows I'd appreciate it.
