/vr/ - Retro Games

I am thinking of buying a repro cart of some Japan-only Super Nintendo games that are translated. However I have heard a lot of people bash repro carts. Is it just for collector reasons, or are these repros actually shoddy?

I am planning to pick out a reproduction game of a Japan-only Super Nintendo game. Which of these should I get?

- Bahamut Lagoon (this is the one I am leaning towards. If I love Fire Emblem and Shining Force, will I love this? It looks beautiful).
- Terranigma (I heard this is critically acclaimed, but I already got Seiken Denestu 3)
- BS Legend of Zelda Maps 1 & 2 (the original Zelda was okay, I know this is a remake, but does it really had much to the original?)
- Fire Emblem Mystery of the Emblem (I heard this game is among the most dated FE's though I could be wrong).

I am curious to hear what /vr/ has to say.
