On a quest to play every N64 "classic." So far every game has aged like milk. This is the final Rare game that I've yet to play, but aesthetically it looks very interesting.

Just look at some of the concept art. The influences for the imitation are obvious but the attempt at making a unique twist falls flat. It's that heinous mix of sausage-3D with faux-anime that makes it reflexively unpleasant to look at. translating this down for real time 3D on the N'ggsty4 left the environments leaning either toward the heinously blurry and garish or the weirdly abstract, bold symbols callously plastered on the scenery for lack of better coherent detail.
