/vr/ - Retro Games

Can we discuss this masterpiece of an adventure game? I replayed it recently, and though its controls are a little wonky, it still stands up great.

For years I'd read video game magazines and read the writers obsess over games like Monkey Island and all these other greats I was missing out on, especially ones on the PC. Coming from a family that weren't exactly rolling in it (I was always a generation late with consoles) so I missed out on a lot of them.

Games like
Day Of The Tentacle
Black And White
and the one I still really wanna play Grim fucking Fandango

So found a copy of Grim Fandango still in the cardboard box with all the CDs and manuals. Box is a little beat up but everything else is practically new. Is this game retro enough for /vr/?

I want this, or one of the first 3 monkey island games. Even though they are rare as fuck in my country.
