This was my fav as a kid, played 3 and 4 first, then 1 and 2.
I never got the praise for 2, it was ok but 4 had the best maps and cars, the physics are a bit wonky though.

ITT: Sequels nobody talks about for some reason.

TM3 was admittedly a step backwards with the garbage physics and level design, but TM4 has the smoothest controls of the original four games (that won't give your thumbs blisters), cool secrets hidden in each level, a good character selection (just maybe not as good as TM2), limited car customization, AND it was 4-player instead of only 2. Why do people dismiss it?

/vr/, I only ever got to play pic related of the Twisted Metal series.

So what am I missing out on with 1 and 2? I had fun with this, but I recognize some of the features were nothing short of silly. Also, is TM4 really that bad among the series?
