Deku Tree IS the tutorial dungeon.
But unlike most games, its not complete shit or baby tier. It has impressive usage of 3D space, something that is very rare.

If you ever have a 2nd or third playtrough, the Deku Tree doesn't feel like complete shit to play trough. Most tutorial dungeons do.
Deku tree is actually fun to playtrough, and there isn't random cutscenes each 3 meters to try to explain mechanics you will get from looking at the onscreen UI prompts.
